This Collection Inspiration Harlan Scott decided to use a favorite AMERICAN artist of his and that he admired, Lichtenstein, his striking use of color and innovative techniques that blurred the lines between high art and popular culture, Harlan felt a creative epiphany. Spring & Summer is a time of awakening, he thought, and what better way to celebrate that than by designing a collection that encapsulated the same spirit of playfulness and irony? entitled "BLAK 31" x The Irony of Banal. He envisioned garments that would not only make a statement but also evoke personal stories, much like the artworks he admired.
